In July 2018, I made a promise to myself that I would record and release a Seven Figure Box podcast every Friday for a year. I wanted to focus on the habit of publishing every week, and enjoy the process along the way, without getting too caught up in how many listeners I had, or whether or not my effort was “paying off”.
15 months later, I have kept the promise to myself and continue to publish each week. While I have seen several benefits from having the podcast, I still feel that I have a long way to go before I can say it’s been a successful project in terms of listeners and tangible business results.
In today’s episode, I share with you an open and honest look at the results I have seen from my first year of podcasting, including a detailed breakdown of my listener numbers throughout that first year. I also share with you a few of the ways that I define success for myself, so I can be proud of the things I am accomplishing along the way, even if the project ends up being a failure by most objective numbers.
