As coaches, we’re often guilty of chasing degrees or certifications, without a clear reason or objective for chasing that next certification. We know we should never stop learning and developing our skills, but it can be difficult to decide what certifications or continuing education is going to add the most value to our careers.
It’s important for us to realize that there are certain skills that are more valuable than others, skills that we would refer to as high value skills.
Skills like sales, negotiation, public speaking, digital marketing, and graphic design, are all skills that can make you a more valuable asset to your clients and the business you work for.
